Ice Dancing Shibutani Siblings Sign With UTA


Olympian ice dancers Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani have signed with United Talent Agency (UTA).

The Shibutani Siblings recently competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea where they won two Bronze Medals for the United States. The pair, who have been skating for 14 years, became fan favorites throughout the Olympic games.

Prior to Pyeongchang, the Shibutani Siblings were renowned skaters. They are three-time World medalists, two-time U.S. National champions, 14-time U.S. National medalists, and Four Continents Champions. They have also won six titles in the Grand Prix series.

The duo is very active on social media amassing over 1.3 million followers online (and growing) In particular, their popular YouTube channel “ShibSibs” has over 150,000 subscribers. Established in 2012, the channels has videos that include behind-the-scenes footage of their travels, training, shows, and competitions. The pair is additionally represented by Yuki Saegusa at IMG.
