DIB emerged the winner in multiple categories including Best Islamic Bank, Best Islamic Retail Bank, Best Islamic Corporate Bank and Best Sukuk Arranger in the region for the second consecutive year. The Bank’s Group CEO, Dr. Adnan Chilwan, was also honoured and presented with the title of ‘Islamic Banker of the Year’ for his notable contributions towards not just driving the growth of the Bank, but that of the Islamic Finance industry as a whole.

The 12th edition of the Islamic Business & Finance Awards was held last night at Emirates Towers Hotel in the heart of the Dubai Financial centre, and brought together the region’s most prominent Islamic bankers, industry leaders, experts and investors–over 300 attendees were present at the awards night from around the world.
